Red Flag Alaska 24-2
Published October 2024
“ With three editions a year, Red Flag Alaska has become one of most important large force exercises in the world. This year the second edition, referred to as Red Flag-Alaska 24-2, took place from 13 June until the 24 June”
As sixteen F-16’s await their turn on the taxiway, a pair of Singapore Air Force F-15E’s accelerate down the runway of Eielson Air Base in the deafening roar of their Pratt & Whitney F-100-PW-229 engines. The next hours these aircraft, and some seventy more, will be engaged in intense and complex combat scenarios. And all this happens over almost endless training airspace, with very few restrictions. This is modern aerial warfare training; this is Red Flag-Alaska
